1. Registering to use Applymetrics

The first thing you will need to do is sign up and register to use Applymetrics. Signing up is as simple as the following steps:

  1. Select the contract plan: The first thing you should do is select the pricing plan that suits your needs. After selecting the pricing plan you will be directed to a payment page. Once you have completed the payment you will be sent an email with a link for completing your sign up.
  2. Receive the signup email and complete the registration: On receipt of the setup email, click on the link and you will be directed to a page where you can enter your account details and select a password
  3. Initial login: After you have completed the registration you will be brought to an empty dashboard and you will be prompted to add a widget
  4. Add a widget: Select the option to add a widget. You will be asked to select the type of widget (e.g. Job views, Application rates, etc) and also asked to enter your LinkedIn API/Secret

Why do you need my LinkedIn API/Secret? We need the API key as this is the main way that we identify your traffic from your website. We also require your secret so that (a) we can verify that you are the proper owner of the API key and (b) so that we can support login on legacy devices (e.g. IE8, etc)
